A little way out of the campo Santa Margherita is Santa Maria del Carmelo, where used to come and pray the members of the "scuola grande dei Carmini". Facing the Campo dei Carmini, the facade has been modified in the 16th century, in a Renaissance style. Plain, sober, almost forbidding, it impresses with its pure beauty.
