Welcome to Venezia Gallery !

Taking a walk around Venice will let you understand better the multiplicity of its beauty. Its narrow alleyways bordering mini gardens, colorful boutiques, dark canals and the small bridges. The city is full with antique magnificent palaces ornated with stone laces standing tightly side by side with plain houses – once upon a time, there lived grocery suppliers who had to deliver meat, bread, coal and all other supplies directly to the doors of the royals everyday; people often say that Venice is a „city full of houses“.
The city’s different faces are also due to the continuous changes of its luminosity, drowning Venice under subtile hues, quick reflections, misty powder coming from the lagoon, covering the landscape with cloudy forms.

Castello
In the Middle Age, this district was once called “Olivolo”, probably due to a large olive grove, still actively exploitated at the time. Dorsoduro
Dorsoduro in Italian means "Hard Back", as a reminder that this sestiere is the only one out of Venice’s six sestieri to be built on a firm, rocky land instead of marshy grounds. It is an exquisite quarter where you’d love to hang around. Located in the southwest part of the city, Dorsoduro is an ... [ + ] |

Gondolas and Friends
In Venice, the Grand Canal functions just like any other large avenues in the world, yet you’d not find any cars here. The large, central vein of Venice is the city’s most important water-traffic corridor. Everything goes around on water : bagages, furnitures, domestic trashbins, groceries, constr... [ + ] |
