These two quarters are the twins of Venice, devoted each to Saint Paul and the Holy Cross / Saint Cross. They are both rich with artistic heritages – having also a historical market, a very large financial center, as well as undiscovered wonders that you would discover. We can also say that both of this small sestieri form together a single historical corner. The smallest one (having a surface of 34 hectares) and the fullest one is San Polo. A nice walk around its narrow streets will allow you to get in touch with unexpected, picturesque surprises. Santa Croce, meanwhile, houses the most recent habitations built between the 19th and the 20th centuries originating from the most recent renovations, resulting in comfortable apartments.
